NERA D by Dip-Tech is is an innovative printer for high-quality digital printing with ceramic inks on glass surfaces. Dip-Tech, the world leader in the production of digital printing equipment, uses advanced technologies to produce its equipment, thus opening up new opportunities for the glass industry.
Dip-Tech offers a universal print carriage including many printhead options and different color layouts. One printhead is designed to work with two separate channels and can print two different ink colors simultaneously. This system allows you to print a wide range of patterns at maximum speed without manually changing colors or updating printer settings, and to quickly switch from monochrome to full-color printing. NEra D printing functionality is increased to 12 channels of ink.
The redundant power system provides automatic, continuous ink circulation to the print head. This optimizes the quality of the ink used for continuous and consistently high print speeds.
The printer has a built-in Drop-Fix system, which is designed to heat the glass before printing and provides pre-drying and fixation of the drop after application, resulting in a smaller dot size and increased accuracy of the drop. Thanks to Drop-Fix system, smooth transition of colors is achieved, it is possible to reduce the thickness of lines and font size, color inconsistency on the product is minimized, as well as reduced impact of dust on the drawing.
New Era eXperience technology (NExT) provides digital control of maintenance and calibration, enables fast loading and editing of job design, adding variable data to the job, creating a frame and a solid fill in minimal time, as well as controlling printing parameters and monitoring the system. Thanks to NExT, the printer can print up to 5 different products at the same time.
The base inks for the NEra D printer are SPECTRUM Sense high-performance inks with long-term stability and brilliance. It comes with 7 base colors (blue, green, white, orange, red, black, yellow) that give countless shades when mixed.
The Dip-Tech DXP 3 design and graphics platform allows automatic translation of standard graphics files into print-ready images, customized for optimal results on glass. At the same time, DXP 3 is user-friendly and intuitive for users.
