Primus 184 can adapt to the various requirements of any production process, machining an almost unlimited selection of materials, regardless of the number and size of production parts. The Primus 184 is characterized by ease of operation, limited maintenance, and high productivity to meet the most demanding requirements for flexibility and precision machining.

Advantages & features

The Primus series combines performance and versatility with the reliability and ease of operation that characterize all Intermac solutions. In short, Primus is the art of simplicity. The material is cut by a jet of water under the highest pressure, which bursts out of the calibration hole at nearly three times the speed of sound (810m/s). Depending on the material to be treated, abrasive sand may be added to the water.

Waterjet cutting machines allow you to process products with the most complex geometries and virtually unlimited choice of materials.

Characteristics:

The PRIMUS machine has a gantry design, the axes are driven by YASKAWA servomotors with rack-and-pinion gears. All guides and gears are protected against splash and abrasive dust by special labyrinth seals. The machine can have one or two cutting heads, 3-axis or 5-axis configuration, and can also have a 2-portal configuration.
